German u- boat . I was asked to install this on Harwich beach to commemorate a 100 years since the end of the 1st world war when 168 German U-boats surrendered on Harwich beach.
I worked in local schools to create some of the parts such as the anchor, chains, rope and propeller. Some members of the public and friends came along to help weave.
