Making Willow Dragonfly’s

Sunday 28th April 10 – 3.30 2024

Learn this lovely corn dolly weave to create your very own dragonfly for the garden. just a note for people with limited strength in their hands may find this a bit tricky. you will start with 2 bird feeders to learn the technique then make your first dragonfly before lunch followed by a second to make sure you remember how to do it.

We start with an obelisk in the morning which you will create and realise how enjoyable weaving can be and how easy it is to create something that looks so professional.

After lunch we will be making some thing else for the garden such as swallows, snails or Catalonian tension platters

 Willow Wren Ball  / Poppy Head Workshop

Willow balls are a fabulous overnight stop for wrens to sleep in. They will require some patience but look lovely hanging from a tree or bush. Approx size 18 inches. learning to random weave is an excellent way to start sculpture weaving from people to animals.
