Making Willow Dragonfly’s

Learn this lovely corn dolly weave to create your very own dragonfly for the garden. just a note for people with limited strength in their hands may find this a bit tricky. you will start with 2 small dragonflys that are easier to make, to learn the technique then make your first large dragonfly before lunch followed by a second to make sure you remember how to do it. The large dragonflys are approximatley 3ft x 3ft.

Sunflowers are quite large (but you can make smaller ones) excellant for beginers. Starting with a basket base then adding petals, stamens and calyx are up to you , its your design. followed by either another sunflower possibly completely differant in design or a lovely swallow in flight.

Willow Wren Ball / Poppy Head Workshop

Willow balls are a fabulous overnight stop for wrens to sleep in. This is a great way to focus and relax on your weave. They look lovely hanging from a tree or bush or a statement in a flower border on a spike. learning to random weave is an excellent way to start sculpture weaving from people to animals.

Christmas Wreath and Garland Workshop

Come and make a Christmas wreath/ welcome ring in the morning, followed by a garland to hang over a fireplace, door or up the stairs in the afternoon. Mulled wineand mince pies to get you in the mood for Christmas. There will be a bring and share lunch (please be aware if you have food allergies)

Please note that as from 2022 the terms and conditions of the workshops will be. Students can email me to book , full or 50% payment will be required via bank transfer . Once full payment or deposit has been made no refunds are given, however you can transfer your place if two weeks notice is given. You can also give your booking to another person for the same workshop, If you book your place and do not arrive no refund will be made.
